Baja King Fish, Kitchen Wall Mural

Baja King Fish, Kitchen Wall Mural

This mural was painted onto the kitchen wall of a local fish taco restaurant in the south bay, Baja King fish. The owner wanted some sea creatures that had day of the dead makeup on and this is what I came up with for him. It was a fun idea to paint and I really enjoyed spending my time there eating their delicious fish tacos!

Knottsberry Farm, Infected Haunt Maze, Nirvana Moon Mural

While working for Knottsberry farm during the summer of 2019 as a scenic painter, I was lucky enough to have the chance to paint a personal mural in a Knottscary farm maze! This maze was set in an urban setting and part of that setting was designed to look like a dilapidated city block and me and my fellow summer painting crew all got to paint one of our own! I chose to place my signature art character, the Nirvana moon, to watch over those who were enjoying being scared in the maze.

BeautifyEarth, Koi Pond Mural

BeautifyEarth, Koi Pond Mural

Just within my second year of living in LA I was blessed to come in contact with the amazing mural organization called BeautifyEarth. I was asked to paint a 30ft fence for a prominent household on Pacific ave very near to the Venice Beach Boardwalk. I wanted to create the image and idea that the passersby would be looking down into a koi pond as they walked the street so near to their beloved beach.

B.E. Dance LA

While living and working in my new found home city of LA I had the pleasure to meet the talented Heather Rabun. We quickly came to realize that our creative destinies were intertwined as I had just worked as an artist consultant on a Buzzfeed music video, in which dancers painted a mural with there bodies as they danced, for an ad for a UE Boom product. Heather wanted to do just that with her own personal troupe of dancers. She had designed and planned the mural out, I helped to outline it and give artistic guidance as the dancers worked to create a cohesive composition all while dancing to music as they were filmed.

UE Boom - What Does Music Look Like?

After moving to LA a friend of mine from college working as a production manager reached out to me to be an artist consultant for a digital ad created by Buzzfeed for UE, a prominent contemporary speaker designer and manufacturer. In this role I was asked to instruct both groups of dancers, hip-hop and interpretive, on how to best make their body movements translate into recognizable strokes on the wall. This project was really fun and it challenged me and the dance troupes to think outside of the box to create this piece!

Luang Prabang Thai Food Cart, Complete Food Cart Concept Design and Repaint

Luang Prabang Thai Food Cart, Complete Food Cart Concept Design and Repaint

This was my first real project as a professional artist right after I graduated from undergraduate studies in Madison. I loved eating at this food cart and I quite literally survived off their massive fresh spring rolls for at least half a semester while I was there. Needless to say I became acquainted with the owners and was honored with the duty of coming up with a fresh design for the cart. I was only able to complete this tasking job by receiving aid from of one of my fellow art classmates and close friend, Kristof Didrickson. We set about to research Thai art and culture to develop a pattern that was reminiscent of traditional Thai pattern work but with a contemporary feel to it. Kristof helped me design and apply the pattern after I painted the carts undercoats. I continued to work on painting some of the complimentary pieces that would be affixed to the cart. The project was all of could have asked for an more! It was so loved by the community that it ended up on the cover of a local publications issue on the cities top food carts. What an honor!

Google Venice Beach, Rooftop Stairwell Mural Concepts

Google Venice Beach, Rooftop Stairwell Mural Concepts

These three mural concepts were done for the Google Venice Beach rooftop stairwell. All of them are to lend an exaggerated feeling of movement from one level to another. Indeed working and existing within one of Googles many expansive and bustling buildings does lend to this feeling of ascension.
