Within a year of graduating from my undergraduate studies I was hired to come up with a new design for one of the campus food carts. It was my personal favorite, the Luang Prabang Thai food cart. Thai artwork, in particular their ornate gold filigree and pattern work are things I have always admired. I knew this was going to be a challenging task and I enlisted the assistance of my good friend and fellow artist, Kristof Didrickson, to help me refine the design and apply the pattern. This was a really fun project for me as a burgeoning artist fresh out of school and it left a lasting impression.
